DECATUR - George P. Baine, Sr., 89 of Decatur, went to be with the Lord 8:45 pm Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. George was born on May 24, 1921 in Bensonville, IL the son of George and Emma (Kroening) Baine. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. George married Charlotte Rosser on December 26, 1947 in Tucson, AZ. Surviving are his wife Charlotte of 63 years, his sons Raymond (wife Lolly) Baine of Wausau, WI and Phil (wife DeeDee) of Decatur; his daughters Emma R. Baine and boyfriend David Daker of Decatur and Janet (husband Bill) Kleidon of Lansing, MI; his sisters Pat Stewart of Carol Stream, IL and Phyllis Serritella of Addison, IL; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. George was greeted in heaven by his parents.
