SALEM, Ky. Myra Binkley Herrin, 87, of Salem, died Thursday at Dawson Springs Health Care Center in Dawson Springs. Mrs. Herrin was a retired restaurant owner. She owned and operated Myra's Cafe in Marion in the late 1960s and also operated several restaurants in Salem and Burna. After selling her restaurant in Marion, Mrs. Herrin worked as a cook for several river barge companies. She retired from riverboat cooking at the age of 75.

Surviving are two daughters, Juanetta Martin of Salem, and Lana Kay Ramsey of Dawson Springs; one brother, Wilford Ramage of Burna; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Her first husband, Frank Binkley, and one daughter, Wanda Lee Binkley, preceded her in death. Her parents were Ike and Nannie Ramage.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Boyd Funeral Chapel in Salem. The Rev. Maxie Hansen will officiate.

Burial will be in Tyner's Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
