HERMANN- Dortha May Martin Pyatt, 83, of Herman, died Sunday, May 26, 1996, at Gamma Road Nursing Center, Wellsville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Macedonia Baptist Church in Boss with Landon Grosse officiating. Burial will be in Boss Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Toedtmann and Grosse Funeral Home in Hermann. A V. F. A. service will be held at 7 p. m. Mrs. Pyatt was born April 26, 1913, she married Thomas Marion Pyatt at Salem. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1983. She is survived by three sons, Clifford R. Pyatt of Festus, Raymond R. Pyatt of Hermann and Marion L. Pyatt of High Hill, one daughter, Marcella E. Korman of Holts Summit, one sister Alta Counts of Ellington, two brothers, Delbert Martin of Wheatland Calif., and Dalton Martin of Boss, 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Earl Glenn and Lloyd Thomas Pyatt, and 2 brothers, Clarence and Earl Martin. Mrs. Pyatt had been a laborer for Florsheim Shoe Company. She was a member of the Hermann V.F.W. Auxiliary and was affiliated with the Baptist Church.
