Herman Edward Friebele, 81, of Oswego, Died Sept. 30, 1990 at Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora. He was born Dec 19, 1908 in NaAuSay Township, Kendall County.
He is survived by his widow, Dorothey (Hibbard) Friebele of Oswego; one son, Donald Friebele of Oswego; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Janice) Mahr of Yorkville, Mrs. Robert (Sheryl) Bryant of Earlville; and Mrs. Lloyd (Bonita) Coffman of Oswego; three step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Dwyre of Oswego; and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwdard (Louise Reichenbacher) Friebele; and by two sisters, Beatrice Meetz of Oswego and Edna Brown of Joliet.
Mr. Friebele was a life long resident of Oswego. Prior to his retirement in 1973, he was employed at Barber-Green in Aurora for 31 years. He was a lifetime member of the Oswego United Presbyterian Church, and belonged to the Barber-Green Hunting and Fishing Club and the Barber-Greene Quarter Century Club.
Funeral services were held Oct. 3 at the McKeown-Dunn Funeral Home in Oswego with the Rev. Robert McQuilkin officiting. Burial took place in the Oswego Township Cemetery.
Contributions in Mr. Friebele's memory may be made to the Oswego Presbyterian Church.
