OBITUARY
Martha Woodside HOGAN, age 80, died on May 13, 1996.
Services were held in Tulsa in the Wallace Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Hodge, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Graveside services were in Edith Ford Cemetery in Canadian with Rick Timmons of Central Baptist Church and Jack Lee, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating.
Mrs. HOGAN was born in Lovington, New Mexico on November 11, 1915. She grew up in Brownfield and graduated from high school there in 1931. She moved in 1948 to Tulsa where she was a third grade teacher for 26 years. She graduated from West Texas State College in 1965. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She married Wayne HOGAN in 1965 in Dimmitt. He preceded her in death in 1973. A son, David “Woody” WOODSIDE, died in July, 1987.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Gladene WOODSIDE; a grandson and his wife, Glen and Amy WOODSIDE, and a great-granddaughter, Macy WOODSIDE, all of Canadian, and a sister, Velma LITTLE of Tulia.
