Melvin Emil Miller, lifelong resident of the Binford vicinity died Monday in his home after a long illness. He was 39 years old.
The funeral will be at 2 today in Bethany Lutheran Free Church of Binford, the Rev. Herman Johnson of New England, ND and the Rev. Vernon Lass of Binford officiating. Quam Funeral Home of Cooperstown, ND is in charge.
Mr. Miller was born at Binford November 17, 1916, and married Solveig Kleven in Moorhead October 6, 1940. They had farmed in Griggs County since.
Besides his wife; he leaves a son, Gary LeRoy; a daughter, Gloria Ann; his mother, Mrs. Anton C. (Mary) Miller, Binford, and nine brothers and sisters. Henry, Elmer, Gilman, Alvin, Reuben, Emma and Alma Miller, all Binford. Mrs. Myron W. (Myrtle) Pilgrim, Fargo, and Alfred of Oakland, California. His father died five years ago,
