Beatrice Ruth Brint Marks, 83, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died January 22, 2007. Born June 7, 1923 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Jaffe) Brint. Her major focus in life was being "Bubbe" to her grandchildren, Aunt Bea to her numerous nieces and nephews and a loving mother to her children. She was admired by many in the community for sharing her extensive knowledge of Judaism and was well-known at Temple B'nai Israel as the Yiddish expert. She was a life member of Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs and loved to teach the younger generations and share her knowledge in the arts, swimming and scouting. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Dr. Leon J. Marks; two sons, Dr. Jay Robert Marks and wife Becky of Little Rock and Michael Bradley Marks, NP and wife, Laura, of Cape Carteret, North Carolina; a brother, Irving Brint and wife, Estelle, of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; a sister, Shirley Levyn and husband, Murry, of Philadelphia and six grandchildren, Joseph Brint Marks and Jeffrey Alexander Marks, both of Little Rock, Joshua Henry Marks and Nathan Benjamin Marks, both of Cape Carteret, Nicholas Andrew Limbird of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Anna Olive of Shannon Hills, Arkansas.
