Mrs. Simon Jenson, Tyrol Township resident, passed away at her home north of Cooperstown Sunday morning, the result of a heart ailment from which she suffered about 10 weeks. Funeral services have been set for Friday of this week at the Jenson Home, and Burial will take place in Hero Cemetery, beside the remains of her husband, who died last September 12.
Deceased was born Nanna Fredrickson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Fredrickson, May 15, 1876, in Norway and made that country her home till young womanhood, coming to this country at the age of 23 years. She lived for a time in Minnesota and came to this county 36 years ago, after her marriage to Simon Jenson at Montevideo, Minn., November 11, 1901, and has made her home here ever since.
Surviving are a son, Julius, of Hankinson, this state; Fritz of Elsie, Ore.; Gertrude of New Rockford; Sylvia in Colorado; Gene of Jessie; and Alfred and Sylvester at home; besides three sisters and a brother in Norway, and another brother, Fred Fredrickson, of this community.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. E. O. Lee and the five sons, together with Ingvald Haakenson, will act as pall bearers.
