William G. Aery, husband of Alma (Doucette) of 76 Pleasant St., died Friday at the Veterans Hospital in Jamaica Plain, after a short illness at the age of 60 years.
Born in Marblehead, son of the late William G. and Lillian (Dupar) Aery, he has always lived in Marblehead. During World War II he served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Post 32, American Legion and VFW Post 2005.
Surviving besides his wife are a son, Peter, and one grandchild of Marblehead.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Eustis Funeral Home, 142 Elm St., Marblehead.
