A Clarion man was killed and his brother was injured when the bridge they were dismantling near Johnstown collapsed late Sunday. Dead is Leonard Earl Henry, 25, of Clarion. His brother, Larry, of Sligo was reported in fair condition at Lee Hospital, Johnstown. Also killed was Robert E. Shaw of 115 Merchant St., Johnstown. The men were employed by Shaw Bros., Inc., in the dismantling of the bridge at Bethlehem Steel’s' Rosedale plant.

Henry was born on August 11, 1942, the son of Eugene C. and Marjorie Ruth Dolby Henry. He is survived by a daughter Sharon and a son Leonard Earl, Jr.; his mother, Mrs. Ruth Henry of Youngstown; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Amos L. Dolby of Clarion.

Also surviving are two sisters, Jeannie and Deborah of Ashtabula, Ohio; and two brothers, Larry Eugene of Sligo and Ronald T., with the U.S. Navy in Rhode Island.

The body was taken to the Goble funeral home, Clarion where friends are being received. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev.
Melvin Miles, pastor of the Free Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Clarion Cemetery.
