Napoleon Dasher,66, died Sunday at the Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton after a long illness.
He was a native of Tattnall County and a resident of Long County for twelve years.
He was a painter and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dessie Dasher, Glennville; a daughter, Mrs. Billy Prescott of Norfolk, Va.; two sons, Dan E. Dasher of Dover, Fla; and Sammy Dasher of Glennville; two sisters, Mrs. Leroy Odum of Jesup and Mrs. J.A. Sutton of Atlanta, nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Calvery Baptist Church conducted by Rev. J.D. Bargeron and Rev. Earnest Dyal. Interment was in Glennville City Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers were Harman Burkhalter, Robert Burkhalter, Wilbert Knight, Billy Knight, Harmon Jackson, and Firman Jackson.
Honorary Pallbearers were Cecil Nobles, Romie Waters, Buster Blocker, Bill Porter, Ira DeLoach, and Larry Swindell.
Waters Funeral Home was in charge.
