Glen POOL, 63, former Canadian resident and brother of Mrs. Paul Bryant of this city, died at Bethania Hospital in Wichita Falls on July 7, 1961, after a long illness of cancer.

Funeral services were held in Wichita Falls and graveside rites were conducted in Canadian. Burial was in the Canadian Cemetery.

Pallbearers were John T. HOUSE, Bob ROBINSON, W. F. JORDAN, Rex ROSE, Tom ROSE and J. B. MASSA, all of Pampa. Honorary pallbearers were Leo CANTRELL, E. C. PAYNE, Jerry McELREATH, Speck FRY, Tom ABRAHAM and Eddie ABRAHAM, all of Canadian.

Mr. POOL was born near Guthrie, Oklahoma, on August 17, 1897. He was married to Mrs. Grace HIGGINS at Arnett, Oklahoma in 1931.

The POOLs made their home in Pampa until 1942, when he moved to Wichita Falls to become bulk agent for Phillips Petroleum Company. He was later associated with his brother-in-law, Earl STUCKEY, in the Stuckey Construction Company until his death.

He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Wichita Falls.

He is survived by his wife, Grace of Wichita Falls; one sister, Mrs. Paul BRYANT of Canadian; a brother, Howard POOL of Shamrock; and a niece, Mrs. Jack KING of Canadian.
