Rosetta Russo, 54, of South Beach, a school bus driver who loved to cook, died Saturday at her home.

Born Rosetta Guttaduro in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn, she lived there until 1991 when she settled in South Beach.

Mrs. Russo was a driver for 21st Avenue Transportation, a school bus company servicing Staten Island and Brooklyn.

She enjoyed cooking and was known among family and friends for her delicious meatballs.

Mrs. Russo also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and the beach.

Family was important to her. She loved to spend time with her two sons and often baby-sat her niece.

"She had a heart as big as the world," remembered her family.

Mrs. Russo was a parishioner of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, South Beach.

Surviving is her husband of twenty years, Robert; two sons, Robert Russo Jr. and Louis Russo; her father, Louis Guttaduro; and a sister, Joanne Civitano.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday from the Martin Hughes Funeral Home, Concord, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church.
Burial will follow in Moravian Cemetery, New Dorp.
