Uncle Frank never married, he was the best story teller there ever was. He wore the British style coat with the large pockets and filled them with hard candies. He cared for his mother Harriet until her death. He rode the Boarder with his brother Charles and Charles brother in law during Pancho Villa Reign, they rode from New Mexico into Ajo, AZ. He carved figures with wood, the family still has many of his many figures. He would sit on a bench at the beach in Santa Monica, CA and carve these figures, while whittling he would sell many of them. He was an amputee, he lost his leg while riding the rails when he traveled back and forth to Mexico. He liked their love of family and they were very warm to his English humor. He would go down to Mexico during the winter and get warm he would say, the Phantom pain in his leg disappeared like magic. Uncle Frank lived at the Sawtel Veterans Home in California for awhile. Francis James Bishop died in Anaheim, Orange Co., CA where he went to be near his niece. It is unknown where his Ashes are.
