PAWNEE - Ilene Ginther Rhodes, 90, of Pawnee died Monday, Jan. 16, 2006, at Meadow Manor Nursing Home in Taylorville.
She was born Sept. 17, 1915, in Edinburg, the daughter of Charles Elmer and Ida Mae Kemerer Ginther. She married Virgil Rhodes in 1931 in Taylorville; he died in 1994.
Mrs. Rhodes was a homemaker and member of Pawnee Methodist Church.
Survivors: daughter, Lois (husband, Harold) Edge of Springfield; three sons, Donald (wife, Mildred) Rhodes of Auburn, Darrell (wife, Linda) Rhodes of Morrisonville and Dale (wife, Arlene) Rhodes of Marion; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services: 1 p.m. Thursday, Roarick-Davis Memorial Home, Pawnee, the Rev. Jerry Divjak officiating. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Buckhart.
