Hester May Oglesbee, age 89, of Gravelly, AR passed away Tuesday, November 5, 1996 at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville. She was born in Sims, AR January 21, 1907, daughter of the late Johnny J. and Mary Ann Elizabeth Brewer Copeland. She was a mother and homemaker, charter member of the Mulberry Free Will Baptist Church at Gravelly and a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 580.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E. L. "Doc" Oglesbee and a son, Bob Roy Oglesbee.

Survivors include: two daughters, Glenna Goodson of Oklahoma City, OK and Kathy Minnie of Gravelly, AR; a daughter-in-law, Maxine Oglesbee of Gravelly, AR; one brother, Jeff" Copeland of Washington State; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held November 8, 1996 at the Mulberry Free Will Baptist Church at Gravelly with Rev. Pat Millard and Rev. Lavan Robinson officiating. Burial was in Park Cemetery in Scott County.
