Mrs. Mella Bearman dies Saturday night

Mrs. Mella Bearman, 76, of Hoagland, died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at her home following an illness of one year. She was a native of Fort Wayne and she had lived in Hoagland 15 years.

Mrs. Bearman was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne, the Dorcas Society of the church, and the Madison Cheerful Workers Home Economics Club.

Surviving is a brother, Arthur L. Brown of Hoagland; a sister, Mrs. Henry Kaiser of Hoagland; two daughters, Mrs. Leona Bradtmueller of Fort Wayne Route 7, and Mrs. Geraldine Herderhorst of Monroeville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at the E. Harper & Sons Funeral Home at New Haven and at 2 p.m. at the Trinity English Lutheran Church, with Rev. John Sjauken officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery at New Haven. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
