Smith, was married,Dewitt left to go to West Springfield,MA. Here he lived with his Aunt,Sarah Smith Eldridge.They needed help on their farm and the Hebron farm could only support few people.Uncle James died in 1894.Dewitt married Emma Ridgeway on Nov 6,1901.Dewitt nad Emma lived with Sarah Smith Eldridge until she died.Later,they built the house on Larone Ave.
