He enlisted in the Army on March 13, 1942 in New York City, New York. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in the manufacture of automobiles and also as being Single, without dependents.
He was killed when the P-38 he was flying crashed during a training exercise in Washington State during the war.
He had served in the Air Corps for two years and six months at the time of his death.
Son of Robert William O'Donnell, Sr. and Mary Torrence Dunn O'Donnell.
His brother, Neil J O'Donnell, is also interred in this cemetery.
