Jackie was born in Trafford, Ala., to the late Roy and Anni Mae Hall. After his high school graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force as a communication specialist serving from 1952 to 1955 during the Korean War. He married Peggy Hall on June 17, 1977. He retired from the Civil Service in December of 1991, after 45 years, serving most of those years at Fort Hood. After his retirement, he continued to stay busy working at various places.
He was preceded in death by a brother; and sister.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Peggy; sons, Johnny Ray, Billy Ray, and Brad Hall; and a grandson, Michael Ray Hall.
