Philomena L. Russell, 95, of Lancaster died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at St. Anne's Retirement Community. Born in Ambler, PA, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Frances DelGiudice DiNunzio.

She was a homemaker and the wife of Howard F. Russell who died in 1993.Her first husband was Joseph LaRuffa who died in 1959.

She was a member of the Musical Arts Society and a member of St. Anthony and St. John Neumann Choir.

Surviving is a daughter, Catherine Henry, Lancaster, eight grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters: Rita Kirchner, Frances Finore, and a grandson, Joseph Finore.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Road, Lancaster, PA on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church from 8:30- 10:00 AM on Saturday. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to St. Anne's Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Ave., Columbia, PA 17512.
