Martin Wayne "COCANO" Hilleary left us on July 14, 2009; He passed away at home with his family after a short battle with cancer. Martin was 65 yrs. of age and was born September 11, 1943 in Nucla Colorado. He came to El Paso as a child and graduated from Bel Air High in 1962. He had completed 1 yr. of college after he served in Vietnam. He started his career at the Southen/Union Pacifis Railroad in 1962 and retired after 45 yrs. Martin leaves behind his loving and devoted wife Joyce Cobb Hilleary, Four childern Marnie Gerk, Lisa Hernandez, Mark Hilleary, and Melissa Rivas and 10 grandchildren Justin & Amanda Shoup, Cheyenne Hilleary, Lauren & Samantha Gerk, Anthony Hernandez, Mathew Hilleary, Alicia Hilleary, Isaac & Kayla Rivas. He is Preceded in death by his father Harold Hilleary and mother Bertie Burks. His Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 12:30 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Funeral Home with inurnment to follow at 2:30 P.M. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
