Daughter of William Henry Stephens and Martha Taylor Adams. Sister of Elizabeth Fenton Starks, James Thomas Stephens, Martha Taylor Duffey, Isaac Richard Stephens, and William L. Stephens. She married George
Washington Archer on 12 November 1890 at Springfield, Sangamon, Illinois.

Mrs. Mary Catherine Archer, 73, resident of Springston for the last 35 years died Monday morning at the Lakeside hospital in Coeur d' Alene after an illness of several weeks. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Purdy of Spokane, Mrs. Mildred King of Vancouver, Wash., Mrs. Frances Borley of Spokane; three sons, Raymond Archer of Portland, Ore., Ralph J. Archer of Seattle and Walter Archer of Harrison, 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 o'clock from the First Baptist church with the Rev. R. G. Finch of Colorado Springs officiating. Serving as pall bearers were M.A. Pettet, John Jones, Joe Jenicek, M.B. Owens, L.E. Trimbi and Albert Nederhood. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.


Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Archer, who died at Coeur d' Alene Monday were held yesterday at 2 o'clock from the Baptist church with the Rev. R. G. Finch of Colorado Springs, Colo. officiating.
Serving as pall bearers were M. A. Pettet, John Jones, Joe Jenicek M. B. Owens, L. E. Trimble and Albert Nederhood.
