He was born Nov 17, 1915, in Detroit. His wife, the former Joann Cieslinski, died in 1980.
He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather.
Mr. Oles retired from Chrysler Corp. in 1979. He was a U.l S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
He is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law, Ted and Melva, Tom and Cheri, Bob and Ann, Ken and Marilyn and John and MaryBeth; a son, Larry; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Dennis Distelrath; a daughter, LouAnn Oles; 12 grandchildren; five brothers, Stan, ben, Ray, Joe and Jerry; and three sisters, Adell Smith, Mary Haggerty and Bernice Schmidt.
A funeral Mass is 12:30 P.M. today in St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clair. The Rev. Edward Ritter will officite. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the L. C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home in St. Clair.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Building Fund.
