Berthia Mae was a Mother of 6 living children and 1 still-born child, Albrittie Ann (attached to this memorial). She had a heart of gold with a wonderful laugh and smile to go with it. She was the oldest of 5 children. Brothers, Vernon W. Officer, and Upton D. & Lynn R. Officer. Sister Erma L. Officer Isbell. She died suddenly in a tragic car accident. She was carrying her 8th child, that passed due to the accident. Her children, Verma Lea Surface, Keith Surface, Steve Surface, Duane Surface, Doyle Surface, & Claytor Flanders will miss her always.
