Mattie S., wife of Jacob Weaver, of near Martindale, died on Wednesday morning of dropsy. Her age was 64 years, 1 month and 21 days. Her husband and the following children are left to mourn her demise: Michael, living on the old homestead farm; Rev. John Weaver, near Reidenbach; Mary and Levi at home. She was a devout member of the Mennonite Church. The funeral was held from her late home yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock and at 11 o'clock at the Pike Mennonite Church where services were held and the interment was made. Bishop Aaron Sensenig officiated. Funeral Director Bowers had charge.
