Daughter of the late John E. & Emma (Suiter) Smith, a former resident of Lewisburg, she died at Elm Creek Nursing Center in West Carrollton, Ohio.
Ona married Gerald E. Browning, who preceded her in death Aug. 24, 1991; also preceding her were 3 sisters: Elizabeth Fouts, Golda Ledford, and Bertha Wilkins, and a brother: Vernon Smith.
She is survived by a sister, Rae Cooper of Redding, Ca.; and brother, Tribue Smith of Greenfield, Oh.; a daughter, Doris Browning Curtis of Huber Heights; 2 sons, Michael Browning of Columbus and Stephen (Cathy) Browning of Lewisburg; 7 grandchildren & 2 great-grandchildren.
Services were Friday Sept. 28, at Barnes Funeral Home-Lewisburg Chapel with Pastor Brian E. Deaton officiating.
