OCEAN SPRINGS --- Amelia B. Andrews, 96, died Wednesday, July 21, 1999, in Biloxi. Mrs. Andrews was a native of Baltimore and had been a resident of the Coast since 1966. She taught school at St. Martin Elementary for over four years and also taught school in Florida and Alabama for over 35 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Biloxi and was a Sunday School teacher in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lothair B. Andrews. Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy A. Foster of Ocean Springs; a son, David B. Andrews of Pensacola; a sister, Helen Kennedy of Ft. Collins, Colo.; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Andrews was sent from the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi to Baggett and Summers Funeral Homes in Daytona Beach, Fla., for services and burial in Shady Rest Cemetery in Holly Hill, Fla.
