Funeral services for Mrs. Ottis Muns, 64, were held at the First United Methodist Church at 2 p. m. Friday, with the pastor, Rev. Cecil Tune officiating, assisted by Rev. Ray Copeland, retired Methodist minister.

Mrs. Muns died at 2.15 p. m Wednesday in Roland Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.

Born Nov. 15, 1905 in Comanche County, she came to Loraine with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Beaty in 1924. She was the former Daisy Beaty before her marriage to Ottis Muns Aug. 1, 1928 in Loraine. They had lived in Loraine since. She was a consistent member of the First Methodist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class until her health failed. She worked for Vance's Variety Store here for several years.

She is survived by her husband; three sisters, Mrs. A. L. Smith of De Leon, Mrs. Loyce Smith of Dallas, and Mrs. Bobble Mott of Culver City, Calif ; two brothers, Allen Beaty of Loraine and Lloyd Beaty of San Angelo.

Pallbearers were Frank Crownover, Leonard Coldewey, James Bennett, J. M. Templeton, Doyle Hester, and W. H. Jean.

Burial was in Loraine Cemetery under direction of Kiker and Son Funeral Home.
