Zeke was the s./o Thompson & Matilda WYNN Dawalt. The name evolved into DeWalt. He was b. on a farm [nr Gardenersville] in Pendleton, Kentucky.

He chose Josephine WEAR to be his first wife. They wed on 25 Feb 1875, in Pendleton,KY and they had 2 children -Mary & Adrian. [Their MR listed her as nee WALL]

That marriage was disolved just prior to his second marriage in 1888 to Widow Alice M. (SMITH).

They lived in Minn. & So. Dakota and had 8 more issue.

Zeke faded away by 1910 while still living in Carrington City, Foster, North Dakota.

Alice, then, made her home with her son, Orville, by 5 Jun 1917.

Zeke was duly interred in the local cemetery.
