Mrs. Coughenour 87,
Died Today , In Morgan Twsp.
Mrs Susan Kent Coughenour who was 87 years old on October 2, died this morning (Nov 2) at her home near Vinton. She was the widow of Al A. Coughenour who died two years ago.
As a result of fracturing a hip, Mrs. Coughenour had been an invalid for nine years. She and her invalid daughter, Nellie Coughenour had been cared for by her daughter, Mrs. Nora Jones, wife of Bert Jones of Rio Grande.
Mrs Coughenour was the daughter of Lewin and Rachel Ward Kent of Morgan Twsp. Before her marriage on April 7, 1880, she taught school in that sectionof the country.
Surviving her , besides the two daughters are a brother and four sisters, William F Kent, Vinton; Mrs. Marvin S Allen, Mrs. Myra Weilington, Emily and Carrie Kent all of Vinton, Ohio.
