George worked for many years at Cohn Bros in northeast Portland, Oregon. He lived in a small house on Senate Street just off of Sandy Blvd.
After a short undisclosed illness, he passed away at the Oregon Health and Science University Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Survivors include daughter Jackie Grims and Sherrie Christianson, both of Klamath Falls, Oregon; eight grandchildren; brothers Edward, Doug, Joe, sisters Lettie, Tiny, Mary, Ramona, and Helen.
