Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Floyd Brower for Edward P. Alexander, 76, of Wardell, at the Stanley Pilgrim Holiness Church Monday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial was in Dry Bayou Cemetery with Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home service.
Mr. Alexander was born October 29, 1875, at Hornbeak, Tenn. and died Saturday, August 2, at Pemiscot County Memorial Hospital. He had lived in this county for many years.
On September 19, at Concord, he was married to Miss Donna Smith, who survives him. Also surviving are a grandson, Garon Teeter of St. Louis; a sister, Mrs. Laura Summers of Tiptonville, Tenn.; and two grandchildren. Two daughters, Bessie Mae Alexander and Hazel Alexander Teeter, preceded him in death.
