MR. JASPER N. MATHENY DIED SUDDENLY YESTERDAY
News reached Guntersville this morning that Mr. Jasper N. Matheney had dropped dead last night at his home at Meltonsville. Mr. Matheney was one of the oldest and best know men in the county. He had been in bad health for some time, but the end was not thought so near, and his sudden death is a severe shock to his numerous friends and relatives. To mourn his death Mr. Matheney leaves a widow, several children and a host of friends and relatives.
