Edna Ritterhouse, Yates Center died Tuesday morning, May 3, 1994, at Allen County Hospital at the age of 96.

She was a retired school teacher, having taught in Woodson County from 1918 to 1968.

She was born Aug. 7, 1897, at Baileyville, the daughter of Charles and Ida May Brown Ritterhouse.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Yates Center and the Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include two nephews, Fayne Ritterhouse of Hutchinson and William Ritterhouse, San Antonio, Texas; and many great-nephews and great-nieces.

the funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center. the Rev. Mike Chamberlain will officiate. Burial will be in Yates Center Cemetery.
