Bianca Nicole Starr, 3, of Carterville, passed away at 8:23 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008, at Herrin Hospital.
She was born in Mt. Venron on Sept. 9, 2005, the daughter of Karrae Nicole Starr and Charles E. Allen.
Private funeral services will be held at a later date with Pastor D. Wayne Heil officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon.
Bianca is survived by her mother, Karrae Nicole Starr of Carterville; father, Charles E. Allen of Lawrenceville; grandmother, Deirdre Gibbs of Woodlawn; grandfather, Ronnie Starr of Texico, great-grandparents, Karen and Robert Carlton of Mt. Vernon and Sally and Wayne Starr of Texico; half-sister, Tiffany Allen of Illinois; special aunt, Caitlin Starr of Marion; two uncles, Curtis Hailey and Colton Hicks; three aunts, Rachel Starr, Tori Starr, and Ashleah Stimer; and several cousins.
Her great-grandfather, Robert Hailey and uncle James" Renegade" Powell preceded her in death.
For those who wish, memorials may be given to the Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home or may be mailed to Hughey Funeral Home, P.O. Box 721, Mt. Vernon, IL 62864.
