Former Douglass resident, Velma Smith, 88, homemaker died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2001.
Her service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, at Douglass United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Douglass Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia Carroll of Council Grove, Beaulah and Clyde Mowder of Edgewood, Wash., Marilyn and Larry Shoyer of Wichita, Donna and Leonard Stewart of Udall; sisters Maxine Hart of Derby, Myrna Conrad of Winfield; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
Smith Mortuary in Derby is in charge of arrangements.
