Ella Mae Tatum King, age 86, of Maple Ridge Drive, Cartersville, Georgia, passed away Friday morning May 7, 2010 at Maple Ridge Health Care Center.

Mrs. King was born July 12, 1923 in Bartow County, Georgia daughter of the late Ryle Tatum and Bertha Lee Tatum. She was retired from Spring City Knitting and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband; Herbert Dixon King; brothers; S.U. "Buddy" Tatum and Bobby Tatum; sisters; Ruby Tatum, Annie Sue Hughes, Alva Howell and Lillian Maybern.

Survivors include brothers; Ryle & Ida Tatum, Hudson & Sherry Tatum; sister; Jeanette Mellinger; sister-in-law; Betty Tatum; close Friends; John & Martha Leach; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon May 8th at 3:00 PM. with Rev. J. Clinton Greene officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Edward "Red" Summey, Charles Summey, John R. Leach, Billy Tatum, Charles Howell, Harold Silvers and Drew Leach.
