Howard E. Phillips, 66, of Blue Eye, MO., passed away at 12:05 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2001, at Kaiser-Permanente Hospital in San Diego, CA. Born March 7, 1934 in Parkville, MO. son of the late Frank and Lydia (Allen) Phillips. Howard was a self-employed pilot and aerial photographer for 25 years. He was also a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Surviving are his daughter, Sherry Pilsi and her husband, Joe of Kansas City, MO; son, Steve Phillips of Oak Grove, MO; daughter, Kristy Morales of Midlothian, TX; daughter, Cindi Spinning and her husband, Richard of Lampe, MO; two brothers, Herb Phillips of Santee, CA. and Loren Phillips of Springfield, MO; sister, Lois VanWhite of Christmas, FL; five grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tim; sister, Bernetta; and his wife of 26 years, Maxine.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2001, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, Branson, MO. Burial will be at Pinecrest Cemetery, Kimberling City, MO.
