ADAMS, Matthew Alan, 38, died January 16, 2010, in San Francisco, California. He is survived by his parents, Stan and Darryl Adams of Midlothian, Virginia; his girlfriend, Missie May DeGrio of San Francisco; his brother, Brad Adams and his wife, Kelly; his nieces, Claire and Carmen Adams; and his godparents, Peg and Jim Schrier. Matt also leaves behind an extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends who will miss him. A family memorial service will be held at Manakin Episcopal Church, 985 Huguenot Trail, Midlothian, Virginia, 23113, on Monday, January 25, 2010, at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Michael Stone. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Manakin Episcopal Church Memorial Fund in Matt's name.
