Cynthia Jo ‘Cindy' Bradshaw, 49, Pekin, Illinois went home to be with her Lord at 7:08 pm Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Cindy was born to James and May Garman Lawson on July 20, 1957 in Pekin. She married Jessie Leon Bradshaw on April 16, 1974 in Timbo, Arkansas.



Cindy worked as a representative for Market Source demonstrating and selling computer products at area stores such as Best Buy. She enjoyed being outside watching wildlife, fishing, and working with her flowers. She loved people, was always ready to help anyone with nearly any task and was the best grandmother in the world. Cindy will be greatly missed by many.



Surviving are her husband; one son, Josh Bradshaw of Pekin; one daughter, Nikki (Will) Gott of Grand Rapids, MI; two grandchildren, Ryan and Grace Gott of Grand Rapids, MI; her mother, May Lawson of Pekin; her brother, David (Myra) Lawson of Elizabethtown, KY; her sister, Nancy (Donald) Johnston of Orion, IL; and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves a sister-in-law who helped her through her illness, Gen (Chet) Price of Pekin.



She was preceded in death by her father, James Lawson of Pekin.



Funeral service was 5:00 pm Saturday, December 2 at Henderson Funeral Home in Pekin. The Rev. Mike McLeod officiated.



Visitation was 12 – 12:30 p.m., Dec. 4, 2006 at Roller Coffman Chapel. Graveside service was held at Blue Mountain Cemetery, Timbo, Arkansas with Bro. Luther Branscum officiating.



Memorial contributions may be made to Pekin Hospital Cancer Treatment Center, 600 S. 13th St., Pekin, IL 61554.
