Albert Leon Ferguson, age 79, resident of the Harkey Valley Community near Dardanelle, died in a Russellville Hospital early Saturday morning. Mr. Ferguson was a retired accountant and merchant. He was a native of Ottumwa, Iowa, and had lived in this community for the past seven years. Mr. Ferguson was a Master Mason for over 50 years, a member of Haviland Kans. Lodge.
Funeral Services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Cornwell Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Robt D. Chambless, Pastor of the First Christian Church officiating. Burial was in Brearley cemetery, at Dardanelle. Members of Dardanelle Bright Star Masonic Lodge served as casket bearers. Services were in charge of the Cornwell Funeral Service.
