She was born Dec. 16, 1919, in Chicago, the daughter of Douglas and Alice (Currey) Edison.
She had worked as an inspector at Green River Ordnance Plant; as a occupational therapist at Dixon State School; had been a secretary at St. Mary Grade School; the activities director at Village Inn Nursing Home; and was a social worker at Lee County Nursing Home before her retirement in 1988. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, Legion of Mary, and NAIM. She also had been a foster grandparent.
She married Raymond Daniels on March 22, 1939,in Chicago. He preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 1980.
She is survived by one daughter, Alcie (Jack Fane)Daniels of Dixon; two grandsons, John Raymond Fane of Macomb and Matthew Edward Fane of Dixon.
Prayer service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home, Dixon, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Dixon, with the Rev. James Keenan, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Dixon. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. , with the rosary recited at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home.
A memorial has been established.
