MRS HANNAH BROWN, 89, one of the oldest members of the High Street Methodist Church, died at 7 p.m. Saturday at the City Hospital. Mrs. BROWN, who resided with her son, Frank W. BROWN, at 1608 Catawba Ave., was known throughout the city as "Grandmother" BROWN, and was the friend of everyone. Mrs. BROWN, aside from her life-long connections with the High Street M.E. Church, was a member of the Mothers' Club of the East Side Chapel. She had resided in Springfield practically all of her life. The body was removed to the C.F. Jackson and CO. Funeral Home, where funeral services were held at a later time, that was to be announced later.
