Professional Basketball Player. Early in life, Rosalind played basketball at Milwaukee Tech High School. Later, she was a two-time All-American at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Junior College. She then played for the University of Oklahoma's national runner-up team in 2002. She was selected by the Los Angeles Sparks in the first round (sixteenth overall) of the 2002 WNBA Draft, April 19, 2002. She was known as a tremendous basketball player whose professional career was cut-short due to injury. She was shot and killed outside a fast-food restaurant on the northwest side of Milwaukee. She was shot while in a vehicle in the restaurant parking lot. Police arrested a 27-year-old woman in connection with the killing. Police said the shooting was related to a domestic dispute.
