Blanche Eloise Jolls, daughter of Lenna Edith Parker and Samuel Judson Arnold, was born in Winterset, Madison, Iowa. She was the 5th of 8 children. On 2 Dec 1919 Blanche's mother died. On 23 Nov 1920, Blanche married Ishmael B "Burr" Jolls in Madison County, Iowa. On 5 July 1928 her father died. At one time Blanche worked in vaudeville, don't know if it was before or after she married. Blanche and Ishmael moved to Oklahoma in the 1920's and I believe it was before her father died. Blanche and Burr had 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. (One boy Robert Burr Jolls and a girl Wanda Lee Jolls died early in life.) Blanche died young (age 45) of heart disease, secondary to Rheumatic Fever. She was survived by her husband Burr Jolls and children Frank Arnold Jolls and Rhoda Loudella "Lou" Smith.
Wanda Lee Jolls is buried at Highland Cemetery in Lawton, Comanche, Oklahoma. Robert Burr Jolls body was moved from Nowata to Sunny Lane Cemetery on 2 Apr 1935, Robert actually died 5 Dec 1934.
