Last Rites for Mrs. F. Kruckman Held Here April 27 [1962]

Last funeral rites for Mrs. Floyd J. Kruckman were held at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Renville at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 27, with Rev. Louis Keller officiating. Interment was in Holy Redeemer cemetery.

Born Mary Loretta Crinnigan, the daughter of William and Ellen Crinnigan, at Fort Dodge, Iowa on May 6, 1894, Mrs. Kruckman died at Our Lady of Good Counsel hospital in St. Pau Monday April 23, 1962. Cause of death was listed as brain cancer. She had been seriously ill for the past five months.

She spent her early life at Fort Dodge, Iowa where she married Floyd J. Kruckman on April 20, 1915 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Most of her married life was spent in the Renville area where she and her husband farmed.

Survivors include her husband, three sons, three daughters, 24 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. A. J. Gangler of Storm Lake, Iowa is the surviving sister. Surviving sons are Floyd Kruckman Jr., of Glencoe; Wesley and William Kruckman of Renville. Surviving daughters are Mrs. Donald Olson (Frances) of Canby; Mrs. Maurice Barkley (Beverly) of Mound; and Mrs. Norman Johnson (Arlene) of Renville.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gertrude, who died at the age of one year.

Pallbearers were Frank Can, James Schafer, Frank Welter, Jerome Haen, Clarence Donahue and Canice J. Branick. Honorary pallbearers were Brador Lanning, Jim Palmer, Joe and Frank Haen, Magnus Johnson, Jr., Harold Royden and Bert Peterson.
