Spent most of his life in and around Portville. Two sons, Raymond and William of Ithaca, NY, three sisters, Mrs. George Shaw, Ithaca, Mrs. J.H. Wilkins and Mrs. Margaret Barreet, Olean,NY, one brother, Albert Bowlsby, Ceres (Ceres is on the NY/PA border, part of the settlement is in each state.) Funeral was held March 11, 1933 with full Military Honors at his mother's home (Mrs. Carrie Bowlsby) on East State Rd., Olean, NY.
