Valentine Mishler, one of the best known citizens of Union township, a highly respected and well-to-do farmer, died very suddenly at his home, four miles southwest of New Paris, on October 5 of paralysis while partaking of supper. He was sixty-seven years of age, and is survived by his wife and ten children.
