Ramon Fuller
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20, at the Masonic Lodge in Eugene for Ramon H. "Ray" Fuller of Eugene, who died Sept. 14 of age-related causes. He was 88.
He was born June 19, 1922, in Eugene to Manley and Jessie Neu Fuller. He married Jean Welch on Aug. 20, 1943, in South Mills, N.C.
He attended grade school in the Santa Clara area and graduated from Eugene High School in 1940. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1942 and served with amphibious forces in the Pacific until his discharge in 1945. He worked for 10 years at the Cottage Grove Sentinal as a printer-pressman. In 1955, he and his father purchased a print shop in Eugene and opened Fuller Printing Company. He retired in 1980.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Richard and William, both of Eugene; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Inurnment will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Eugene. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to Shriner's Children's Hospital or the cancer fund of the Order of the Eastern Star.
